On Peninsula: Kids & Art Workshop For Bereaved Families Touched By Cancer

Money from ticket sales will go toward a family's funeral expenses.

Announcement from Peninsula-based Kids & Art Foundation:

HEALING ARTS WORKSHOP FOR BEREAVED FAMILIES TOUCHED BY CANCER

This workshop is offered to families who have lost a child to cancer and/or a child (any age) who has lost an adult caregiver to cancer.

Our facilitators have used and shared collage, singing, writing, dancing and druming as a way of working through loss and grief. This experience has given them a deeper awareness of their own personal healing and a path to help others. Each modality of creative expression presented in this workshop can help grieving families as they strive to find meaning and learn to live with loss.
