Rape Reported At Stanford Student Housing
Breaking: Stanford public safety officials have issued an alert about the alleged sexual assault rape.

PALO ALTO, CA -- An alleged rape was reported Wednesday at Stanford, prompting the university's public safety officials to send out an alert about the incident. According to the Stanford University Department of Public Safety, it was notified about "a sexual assault rape that occurred at a student residence on the west side of campus" at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The female victim and the suspect are acquaintances, the alert stated. According to a description provided by the victim, the suspect is a light-skinned black man who is about 53 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police and the university are investigating the incident; anyone with information should call 650-329-2413.
