Research Crews Will Be Riding Caltrain Starting Tuesday To Collect Passenger Opinions

Questionnaires will be distributed to gather info on service satisfaction and rider needs.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – Caltrain will be conducting its Triennial Customer Survey this month as a way to collect data on passenger characteristics, demographics, service satisfaction and sources of information.

Starting Tuesday and lasting through Sunday, Oct. 23, surveyors from the research firm Corey, Canapary and Galanis will be riding the train to survey riders and collect completed questionnaires.

Findings from the Triennial Survey provide a glimpse into the daily travel patterns of Caltrain’s growing customer base. With this information, Caltrain says it can make operational decisions on whether service needs to be adjusted to meet the needs of its passengers.
