Activities are planned for all ages including heirloom fruit tasting, live music, the popular Happy Birds Performing Parrot shows, the San Francisco Zoomobile, puppet and magic shows, tours of the Gentleman’s Orchard, and an autumn-themed flower arranging demo. The Bubblesmith, who makes giant bubbles, is also back by popular demand. New this year are Centennial games for kids ages 5 and older. This old-fashioned fun is one of the many and varied ways Filoli is celebrating its three-year long Centennial.

The highlight for guests is a rare opportunity to taste the heirloom fruit from Filoli’s Gentleman’s Orchard. Tours of this historic orchard, containing over 600 trees, will take place throughout the day.

Gentleman’s Orchard is the largest private collection of heirloom fruit in the United States. Children can help volunteers operate a cider press and share the fruits of their labors with other guests. Filoli will have its own Pumpkin Patch where children can choose and decorate their own pumpkin to take home.

Admission for Autumn at Filoli Festival is $20 for current members of Filoli; $25 for non-members; $8 for children between the ages of 5 and 17 years and free for children 4 years and younger. Advance purchase is strongly recommended as Filoli has a limited number of tickets available due to space constraints.

Pre-ordered boxed lunch is available, including a vegetarian option and lunches must be ordered by September 23 at 4:00 p.m. $20 Adult lunch; $12 Child lunch. Visitors are encouraged to car pool to the event. Parking is free but limited.
