SUPERSURVIVORS: Kara's 2016 Spring Fundraiser
On Saturday, May 14th Kara will hold a special fundraising event at Mitchell Park Community Center to raise money for our crucial services.
On Saturday, May 14th, please join us from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto for SUPERSURVIVORS, a special fundraising event to raise money for Kara's crucial services.
Driven by empathy and supported with compassion, Kara provides grief support for children, teens, families, and adults. Your financial support helps us deliver hope and healing to the Bay Area. SUPERSURVIVORS is about human resilience in the wake of tragedy, what our clients deal with on a daily basis once they've had a loved one die. We will share an afternoon with silent and live auctions, fund-a-need, and a presentation by award-winning author David Feldman, Ph.D. of Supersurvivors: The Surprising Link Between Suffering and Success. The goal is to raise $115,000 to expand our grief support services into the Hispanic community and within community schools.
Kara’s mission is to provide grief support to children, teens, adults and families. Our guiding value is empathy. Every day we provide compassion and support to children and adults because loss and grief impact everyone. Our vision is to see people of all ages compassionately supported on their journey through grief.
