PALL Titans wins 3 of their last 4 games, beating San Carlos 10-0
Palo Alto's Titans shut out the San Carlos Red Sox in their 2nd meeting in their District 52 5070 game Wednesday night at Madsen field. Cory Hallada pitched an almost-perfect 3 innings giving up 1 hit with 5 K's. Spencer Soohoo matched Cory, closing out the last 2 innings also only giving up 1 hit. "Intensity and focus," commented Titan's manager Craig Yanagisawa describing the Titan's pitching and catching. Kaden Lau caught all 5 innings after catching 6 innings last Sunday.
The Titan's offense was led by a bust-out performance by Andrew Fahey who hit 4 for 4 and also was perfect defensively putting out 4 San Carlos hitters throwing to Tyler Ostrom at 1st. "Very gutsy," said coach Burton complimenting Andrew and Tyler who was fighting a cold.
Cory, JP Conrad, Malia Wanderer, and Zaid Ball completed the Titan's hitting effort each going 3 for 4. "When you have 5 kids hit over .500, great pitching and defense after a tough loss on Sunday, just shows how determined and tough these kids are," lauded coach Yanagisawa.
