Two-Alarm Fire Destroys Board And Care Home

Firefighters are battling a two-alarm blaze at an East Palo Alto board and care home, Menlo Park Fire Chief Harold Schapelhouman said.

The fire, which is burning at 1208 Bay Rd., has been contained to the home but is still burning, Schapelhouman said shortly after 5 p.m.

The residents have left the home safely, and no injuries have been reported, he said.

The home, however, has been destroyed, he said.
