Viking, Kenmore Ranges Recalled For Safety Hazards
The oven on the pricey Viking Range can turn on by itself. Kenmore recalls involve faulty burners and sharp edges.

Three separate recalls were issued last week for kitchen ranges for safety hazards that include burns, escaping gas and lacerations, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Viking Ranges were recalled for gas ovens turning on by themselves. And two notices were issued involving Kenmore products: one for faulty burners that may allow gas to escape into homes; the other for a sharp stainless-steel trim that may cut owners, the CPSC reported.
