Webster House Health Center to Present New Technology at Annual LeadingAge California Conference in Palm Springs

Webster House Health Center's Executive Director will join the state's top industry professionals in addressing new senior care technologies

LeadingAge California, the state’s largest and most progressive senior living and healthcare association, will host their annual conference from May 2nd-4th in Palm Springs, CA. Webster House Health Center’s (WHHC) Executive Director Linda Hibbs Director of Nursing Rudy Stoltzfus, and Clinical Services Manager Michele Fifer have been asked to present their use of a new state-of-the-art technological advancement, the BAM LABS® Smart Bed Technology® Solution.

WHHC is one of the two only facilities using the BAM LABS® Smart Bed Technology® Solution to help enrich the lives of their seniors. This new technology gives relief to both the caregiver and patient. The new beds prevent the formation of decubitus ulcers and helps the healing process using biometric sensor mats. Its web and mobile applications are used to reduce the incidence of pressure sores. When implemented into the wound program, the beds assist in the healing of existing wounds and greatly reduce the breakdown of the skin.

Throughout the year, WHHC will be undergoing a complete renovation of its building and continues to enhance its patient care and services. The recipient of numerous awards, WHHC is proud to announce that it is one of the top health centers in greater Bay Area. The Center is run under the guidance of Medical Director Dr. Peter Pompei, Association Professor of Medicine and Director of Stanford University’s Geriatric Fellowship Program.
