Missing Woman With Alzheimer's Disease Located In Palo Alto: PD
BREAKING: Police said the 59-year-old woman was last seen leaving a Palo Alto thrift shop late Tuesday morning.

PALO ALTO, CA — UPDATE: A woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease and went missing late Tuesday morning in Palo Alto was safely located in the city by a resident, Palo Alto police said in an update just after 7 p.m.
Ning Du, 59, is back with her family, "safe and sound," police said. "Thanks for your help in keeping an eye out for her."
ORIGINAL POST: Palo Alto police asked the public to be on the lookout Tuesday for a woman who has been missing since she walked out of a local thrift shop earlier in the day. Ning Du, who has Alzheimer's disease and does not speak, was last seen at 11:30 a.m. as she left Goodwill, 4085 El Camino Way, according to Palo Alto police.

Du is 59 years old and was wearing an orange North Face jacket and black pants.
Palo Alto police say they notified surrounding police agencies and were actively searching for Du.

Anyone who sees her was asked to call 911 and keep her under observation until officers arrive to help her.
