Worker Dies At Palo Alto Job Site
The fatal incident happened in a parking lot next to a church on Middlefield Road, a Palo Alto police official said.

PALO ALTO, CA — A person died Thursday morning at a Palo Alto construction site. At 8:47 a.m., a sergeant with the Palo Alto Police Department was flagged down about the incident in the 2400 block of Middlefield Road, Palo Alto Police Department Spokeswoman Janine De la Vega told Patch.
De la Vega said the work-related incident happened in a parking lot next to a church — and possibly a preschool — on private property.
Love N Care Preschool is located at 2490 Middlefield Road. A preschool representative said the fatality does not involve any children, parents or teachers who are affiliated with the school.

News reports indicate the worker may have been crushed under a Bobcat.
Bridgeway Church is at that location.
De la Vega said since the death happened at a work site, Cal/OSHA would be conducting the investigation.
