Youth Benefit Concert Tonight at JCC
Local eight-grader organizes show to raise money for children's school in Sierra Leone.

A Palo Alto eighth grader riaising money to build a school for children in Sierra Leone may soon have reason to celebrate.
Eleanor Su, who attends , will tonight be at the along with dozens of youth performers from across the city.
Su and her group—the Free the Children Club—are only $500 short of reaching their $8,500 goal, a difference well within reach if they can pack the house tonight.

The concert will feature classical musicians, dancers, vocalists, and contemporary bands from Terman, Jordan, Gunn, Paly, JLS, Menlo, Castilleja, Keys, Girls Middle School, and Juana Briones.
Free the Children has been making a big impact locally with in-school assemblies and summer camps. Spencer West, a Free the Children representative and motivational speaker, , encouraging them to get involved in changing the world. Kids can make a difference, he said.
