2 Shot, Killed In Rancho Palos Verdes
The LA County Sheriff's Department sought the public's help Monday to find more information about a shooting that left two people dead.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Two people were shot and killed in the Pelican Cove parking lot in Rancho Palos Verdes early Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
Authorities said they received the shooting report at about 6:50 a.m. in the 7000 block of Palos Verdes Drive South in Rancho Palos Verdes. Deputies said two people were pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.
"The City extends its condolences to the families of the two victims," city officials said in a statement.

No additional information about any suspects or the victims' identities was available.
While authorities conduct their investigation, coastal trails to and from Pelican Cove and the Pelican Cove Parking lot will be closed until further notice.
