The crime blotter covers incidents in the Palos Verdes Peninsula from July 9 to 15.

PALOS VERDES, CA — The following is the most recent Lomita Sheriff's Station crime blotter for the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Rancho Palos Verdes

PETTY THEFT

  • Package - July 11, 2023, 4:44 p.m. - Martingale Drive
    • Multiple packages were reported stolen from a residence, authorities said. The suspect was described as a man n his 30s who wore a blue baseball cap, a light-colored blue shirt, multi-print black and white shorts and white shoes. Deputies said the man was seen leaving the location in a grey, newer model Lexus with multi-spoke wheels and a window tint.
  • Package- July 12, 2023, 4:26 p.m. - 2800 block of Colt Road
    • One package was stolen from a home in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the Sheriff's Station. The suspect was described as a white man who wore a blue hat, white shirt and basketball shorts. Deputies said the man was seen leaving the location in a black Toyota Camry.

  • Package - July 12, 2023, 4:45 p.m. - Coach Road
    • One package was stolen from a home in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the Sheriff's Station. The first suspect was described as a man who wore black shorts, a white shirt, a blue Dodgers hat and a towel covering part of his face. There was no description available for the second suspect. Authorities said the pair were seen leaving the area in a grey 2008 Toyota Camry.

BURGLARY

  • Residential - July 15, 2023, 4:48 p.m. - 5600 block of Mistridge Drive
    • Jewelry, a safe and ammunition were reported stolen from a home in Rancho Palos Verdes, authorities said. The first suspect was described as a Black man with a medium build who wore a black surgical mask, black gloves, a white hoodie and black pants. the second suspect was described as a Black man with a medium build who wore a black surgical mask, white gloves, a black and white hoodie and black pants
  • Vehicle - July 13, 2023, between 1:30 p.m. and 2:37 p.m. - 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South
    • Credit cards and debit cards were reported stolen from a car, deputies said. No suspect information was available.

  • Arrest - July 10, 2023, 10:39 a.m. - Peninsula Center
    • One person was arrested in connection to an instance of shoplifting from a shore in the Peninsula Center, authorities said. Deputies said the suspect took fragrances from the store.
  • Merchandise - May 10, 2023, 3:10 p.m. - Peninsula Center
    • Lotions, creams, fragrances and gift sets were reported stolen from a store in the Peninsula Center during business hours, deputies said. The first suspect was described as a Black man who is 5 feet and 5 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. The second suspect was described as a white woman who is 5 feet and 3 inches tall with burgundy and blonde braided hair.

GRAND THEFT

  • Theft - July 11, 2023, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - Aspen Way
    • Cash, silverware and a hairdryer were reported stolen according to the Sheriff's Station. No suspect information was available.

BURGLARY

  • Residential - July 13, 2023, 5:48 a.m. - Peartree Lane
    • Two people were arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a home that was impacted by the landslide in Rolling Hills Estates, authorities said. Before the suspects were arrested, deputies said clothing, tools, a coin bank, a laptop, a wallet, cash, sunglasses, cellphones, an iPad, coins, hats, cellphone chargers and bicycle lights were stolen.

No crimes were included in the Rolling Hills crime blotter during the reporting period according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station.
