A Los Angeles-area man has been arrested on multiple felony charges after being seen traveling on foot near the Trump golf course in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The man, 36-year-old Glendale resident Sean Timothy Steiner, was seen traveling on hiking trails while wearing a tactical vest and carrying multiple guns, including a loaded revolver and a rifle, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The rifle was loaded with a round in the chamber and a full magazine inserted, authorities said, and the weapon was painted green and purple and featured phrases such as "Why so serious?" and "Let’s put a smile on that face."

The color scheme and phrases are widely associated with the comic book and movie character "The Joker," the arch-enemy of Batman.

Witnesses had also reported seeing Steiner wearing rifle-rated body armor and gloves while carrying a rifle and duffle bag, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Steiner, who's listed as six feet tall and 170 lbs., was booked into County Jail on March 29 and released on bond April 1, according to jail records.
