If you've got boxes of documents that you need to have shredded, then there's an event right around the corner that you probably want to know about.
At the City of Rolling Hills Estates' annual Earth Day event, the city is offering free drive-through shredding in the City Hall parking lot. There is a limit of three boxes per person, however.
The event just isn't for document shredding, however. Attendees can take part in family-friendly activities and connect with the city's local environmental partners, including Waste Management & Recycling Services and the South Bay Environmental Services Center.
The city will also allow attendees to explore its Cal Water Demonstration Garden, EV chargers, and learn more about RHE's sustainability efforts.
The event is scheduled for 3:30 to 6 pm Thursday, April 23 at Rolling Hills Estates City Hall, 4045 Palos Verdes Dr N, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274.
