
Terranea Resort Names Michael Wildey Food and Beverage Manager of Nelson’s
Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. (Aug 23, 2012) – Terranea Resort names Michael Wildey food and beverage manager of Nelson’s. Wildey will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the resort’s popular cliff side eatery.
“Michael brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise to the Nelson’s team,” said Director of Food &
Beverage and Operations Shawn Jervis. “We welcome his leadership and value the tremendous community relationships he has developed through the years.”

Wildey, a South Bay native of Abalone Cove, has more than seventeen years of experience in the hospitality industry within Los Angeles County. Most recently, he served as general manager for Riviera Mexican Grill in Redondo Beach overseeing operations and instituting corporate policies and initiatives. He also spent more than ten years with Chart House Restaurant quickly moving through the ranks where he became the company’s youngest assistant general manager in Redondo Beach and was later promoted to general manager at the Malibu location. Wildey also spent time as a marketing associate with SYSCO Food Service where he excelled in client service and sales, managing more than 30,000 restaurant related products.

Wildey earned his Associate of Arts Degree from Los Angeles Harbor College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a Minor in Hospitality Foodservice and Hotel Management from California State University Long Beach. In his spare time, Wildey enjoys travel, surfing, and off-road adventure.
Nelson’s

Nelson’s is perched directly above the ocean coves made famous by the 1950s television series Sea Hunt – from
