Body of Suicide Victim Airlifted from Palos Verde Bluffs

The body of a woman who committed suicide was recovered from the bluffs in Rancho Palos Verdes this afternoon, authorities said.

The discovery of the woman’s body near the 31000 block of West Palos Verdes Drive was reported about noon, according to the watch commander at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lomita Station.

The victim left a suicide note, the watch commander said.

Her body was hoisted from the scene by a sheriff’s helicopter.
