Brush Fire Scorches Half An Acre In Palos Verdes

The Los Angeles County Fire Department extinguished a half-acre brush fire in Palos Verdes.

PALOS VERDES, CA — A half-acre brush fire broke out in Palos Verdes near Marguerite Drive and Palos Verdes Drive West Tuesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. and the forward progress of the blaze was quickly stopped, according to officials. The fire was quickly extinguished by 4:30 p.m. No surrounding buildings were threatened and no evacuations were issued.
