<h2>Hills Are Alive 5K/10K Race Returns May 30</h2>
The City of Rolling Hills Estates invites the community to participate in the Annual Hills Are Alive 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Ernie Howlett Park, where participants will start and finish a scenic course through the City’s bridle trails. The route offers a unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty and rural character of Rolling Hills Estates.
<h3>Registration</h3>
Registration is now open for the 2026 race.

Standard Registration: $40 (April 1 – May 29 at 8:00 p.m.)
</li>
<li>
Day-of Registration: $45
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Awards</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Overall first-place male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K will receive plaques
</li>
<li>
First-place finishers in each age division (male and female) will receive medals
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Packet Pick-Up</h3>
Participants who register prior to Friday, May 29 may pick up race packets at City Hall (Council Chambers), located at 4045 Palos Verdes Drive North, on Friday, May 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Participants who register on May 29 or the day of the race may pick up their packets at Ernie Howlett Park on race day.
