ASSAULT

  • Assault - June 9, 2023, at 5:31 p.m. - 31000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard
    • One suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault in Rancho Palos Verdes, authorities said.

  • Auto - June 5-6, 2023, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. - 29000 block of Enrose Avenue
    • A white 2016 Hyundai Sonata was reported stolen in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the Sheriff's Station. No information was available about any suspects.

BURGLARY

  • Vehicle - June 4, 2023, between 12:46 a.m. and 1 a.m. - 4200 block of Palos Verdes Drive East
    • A backpack, tent and a sleeping bag were stolen from inside a car according to authorities. Deputies said they found the rear windshield of the car shattered. No information was available about an suspects.
  • Vehicle - June 4, 2023, between 11:27 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. - 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South
    • A purse and a wallet containing credit cards and a driver's license were reported stolen, officials said. Deputies said they found the keyhole on the driver's side of the car damaged. No information was available about any suspects.
  • Vehicle - June 4, 2023, between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South
    • Cash, credit cards and a cellphone holder were reported stolen from inside a car, authorities said. Deputies said the front driver's side keyhole was damaged. No information was available about any suspects.
  • Vehicle - June 7, 2023, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard
    • A purse and a wallet containing cash, a driver's lisence and membership cards were reported stolen, the Sheriff's Station said. Deputies said they found the front passenger side window shattered. No information was available about any suspects.
  • Business - June 7-8, 2023, between 5 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 28000 block of Western Avenue
    • Children's clothing was reported stolen from a store in Rancho Palos Verdes, authorities said. Deputies said the small front glass window of the business was broken. No information was available about any suspects.
  • Vehicle - June 10, 2023, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:03 p.m. - 31000 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
    • A wallet containing a driver's license, credit cards, a medical card, a membership car, a library card and cash was reported stolen, according to the Sheriff's Station. Officers said the lock on the driver's side door was punched. No information was available about any suspects.

  • Business - June 9, 2023, 8:50 a.m. - Peninsula Center
    • A business in the Peninsula Center reported an instance of shoplifting in store, authorities said. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic woman who appeared to be 25 to 35 years old. She was seen leaving the location in a 2009 beige Volkswagen, deputies said.
  • Business - June 5, 2023, 9:05 p.m. -900 block of Silver Spur Road
    • Lotion, eye drops and a beverage were reportedly shoplifted from a Rolling Hills Estates business, authorities said. The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s who wore a red jacket with white sleeves and black pants. Officials said he was seen leaving the location in a newer model white four-door sedan that could possibly be a Mazda.
  • Business - June 7, 2023, 4:26 p.m. - 900 block of Silver Spur Road
    • Miscellaneous cosmetic items were reported stolen from a Rolling Hills Estates business, according to the Sheriff's Station. The first suspect was described as a 5 foot tall woman who wore a long sleeved peach-coloered dress with black sleeves. The second suspect was described as a 5 foot tall woman who wore a long black dress with a gray cardigan.

BURGLARY

  • Residential - June 9-10, between 6 p.m. amd 4:30 p.m. - Peacock Lane
    • Jewelry was reported stolen from a home in Rolling Hills Estates, officials said. Authorties said they found the sliding glass door on the second floor shattered. No information was available about any suspects.

There were no crimes included in the Rolling Hills crime blotter during the reporting period according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station.
