City To Honor Armed Forces As 'Heroes Among Us'

Rancho Palos Verdes is looking for veterans and active service members to honor at an upcoming City Council meeting.

PALOS VERDES, CA — The City of Rancho Palos Verdes would like to recognize Rancho Palos Verdes residents who are serving in the Armed Forces or are veterans who have served in the past at an upcoming City Council meeting, the City announced Thursday.

If you would like to be honored or would like to nominate a veteran, email the City Clerk’s department at cityclerk@rpvca.gov. Please provide the contact information of the individual as well as a brief bio, so city officials can prepare a certificate.

Applications may be submitted online here. Those nominated must live in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Staff will coordinate a date for a formal presentation of the certificate, by Mayor Duhovic, at a future City Council meeting, the City said.
