Single-Story Building Set On Fire In Wilmington

Forty firefighters knocked down the flames at the vacant commercial building.

WILMINGTON, CA – A single-story vacant commercial building was damaged by a fire in the 800 block of North Eubank Avenue in Wilmington. Firefighters were sent to the location at 12:15 p.m. and knocked down the fire in 21 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No other structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. The cause of the flames are under investigation. Homeless people may have been living in the structure, the LAFD reported.
