Dog Walker Pleads No Contest To Burglarizing Palos Verdes Home
His accomplice, also from Hermosa Beach, was immediately sentenced to two years in state prison.

PALOS VERDES, CA – A dog walker in Palos Verdes Estates pleaded no contest today to burglarizing a home that he could access with a key given to him by the homeowners, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced. Nephi Henderson, 36, of Hermosa Beach entered the plea to one count of first-degree residential burglary and was immediately sentenced to two years in state prison.
His co-defendant, Zulma Lourdes Farias, 20, of Hermosa Beach pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree residential burglary. Farias is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 29 in Department 42 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center; she's expected to be sentenced to three years formal probation and ordered to complete a court reentry program.
Henderson used a key given to him by a family so he could walk their dog to break into the house and burglarized it along with Farias, prosecutors said.
