Restaurant Christine is starting to feel a bit more urban with its introduction of popular street foods like grilled cheese and hot dogs to the menu.

Owner and chef Christine Brown creates dishes that capture the flavors of both the Mediterranean and Pacific Rim, with a French influence. The menu is constantly evolving, this time with inspiration from some of L.A.'s most popular mobile food sources.

Taking a cue from the twittering food trucks that prowl the city, the Zagat-rated restaurant now offers Grilled Cheese Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Crepes Wednesday, Oodle-of-Noodles Thursday, and for Friday: burgers, sliders, and dogs.

On Taco Tuesday, you can fill your taco with shrimp and white cheddar, a Korean barbecue filet mignon with wasabi cream and sesame seeds, spicy Ahi tuna poke with mango relish, and more.

A Monday devoted to grilled cheese means sandwiches with brie cheese and grilled pears, artisan white cheddar and truffle oil, including other variations.
