Free Community Event For Horse Lovers Set For Palos Verdes Peninsula

The cities of the Palos Verdes Peninsula are inviting residents to a free equine event taking place May 2 in Rolling Hills Estates.

The four cities of Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates are jointly sponsoring the PVP Equine Ready event, which features presentations from veterinarians specializing in various areas of equine health.

Attendees can also get emergency preparedness guidance, watch a trailer-loading demonstration by LA County Animal Care and Control, explore resource booths, and more.

The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park, 25851 Hawthorne Blvd. Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274.

No RSVP is required to attend the free event.
