ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA -- Traffic delays are expected Thursday at a busy Rolling Hills Estates intersection for traffic signal work, authorities said.

A new traffic controller will be installed in the traffic signal at Palos Verdes Drive and Rolling Hills Road between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Lomita Station.

As a result of the work, the light may not be functioning or may be on flashing red for long periods of time and the utility company will be present for the duration of work, authorities said.
