PALOS VERDES, CA — The following is the most recent Lomita Sheriff's Station crime blotter for the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Rancho Palos Verdes

ASSAULT

  • Burglary - Aug. 10, 2023, 5:30 p.m. - 30000 block of Palos Verdes Drive East
    • A cellphone and a key were stolen during a residential burglary that escalated into an assault, deputies reported. The first suspect was described as a white man in his 30s who had a shaved head and wore a dark hoodie. The second suspect was described as a white woman in her 40s who had shoulder-length brown hair and wore a blue tank top and blue shorts.

  • Vehicle - Aug. 9, 2023, between 12 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. - Trump National Drive
    • According to deputies, the rear passenger side window of a car was shattered. A purse containing a wallet, perfume, makeup, cash, a checkbook, a driver's license, key fobs, house keys, a credit card and a ring were reported stolen from inside the vehicle. No suspect information was available.
  • Residential - Aug. 9-10, 2023, between 1:30 p.m. and 7:45 a.m. - 30000 block of Camino Porvenir
    • A jewelry box containing miscellaneous jewelry was reported stolen from a home, authorities said. According to the Sheriff's Station, the side door of the house was forced open, allowing entry. No information about any suspects was available.
  • Residential - Aug. 10, 2023, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.- 6300 block of Tarragon Road
    • Deputies reported that cash was stolen from a home. No information about the suspect or how they got into the house was available.
  • Vehicle - Aug. 9, 2023, between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. - Trump National Drive
    • Coins were taken from a vehicle, deputies reported. Authorities said the front driver's side door handle was damaged. No information about any suspects was available.

GRAND THEFT

  • Theft - Aug. 6, 2023, 12 p.m. - 900 block Silver Spur Road
    • According to the Sheriff's Station, two suspects stole jewelry from a business. According to authorities, the suspects were Asian.

PETTY THEFT

  • Unlocked vehicle - Aug. 7, 2023, 5:20 p.m. - 28000 block of Highridge Road
    • Three suspects were arrested in connection to a vehicle burglary where cologne, jewelry and cash were stolen, authorities said.

BURGLARY

  • Residential - Aug. 8, 2023, 5:34 p.m. - Rollingwood Drive
    • Unknown items were stolen from a home after suspects gained entry to the home through an open window at the back of the house. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man who wore a black baseball cap, a highlighter green long-sleeved shirt, baggy pants and black shoes. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic man who wore a blue hoodie. the third suspect was described as a Hispanic woman with a thin build who wore a light-colored hat, a turquoise jacket and blue jeans. The suspects were seen leaving the location in a newer model white four-door sedan, authorities said.
  • Residential - Aug. 8, 2023, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. - 5100 block of Willow Wood Road
    • Chinese and Japanese currency along with jewelry were reported stolen from a home after suspects gained entry through a back window that was pried open, authorities said. No information about any suspects was available.
