SAN PEDRO, CA —A 28-year-old man was killed early Wednesday morning in a possibly gang-related shooting in San Pedro, police said.  Officers found the wounded victim after being dispatched about 2:25 a.m. to investigate a report of shots heard in the 300 block of West Third Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.  The man died at the scene. His name was withheld pending family notification.  No arrests had been reported as of mid-afternoon.  Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call the investigating detectives at (310) 726-7882 or (310) 726-7880.
