Man's Body Found Off Point Fermin Confirmed as Suicide
The man was identified as 72-year-old Joseph Dileva, who was homeless.

SAN PEDRO, CA - Coroner's officials today said the man whose body was recovered at the bottom of a cliff at San Pedro's Point Fermin Park took his own life.
He was identified as 72-year-old Joseph Dileva, who was homeless, Acting Lt. B. Kim of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office told City News Service.
Dileva's body was found early Friday, and recovered by Los Angeles Fire Department crews, who hoisted it into a helicopter.

The fall from the cliff caused traumatic injuries, the coroner's office said.
