Over 1,500 Lose Power In Rancho Palos Verdes: SCE

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — A power outage in Rancho Palos Verdes affected 1,797 customers Friday evening, according to Southern California Edison.

The outage was caused by equipment problems and started at 4:48 p.m. Friday, according to SCE.

A field investigator was alerted of the outage and was en route to the area as of 5:30 p.m. The outage was reported in the area of South Western Avenue between West Toscani Drive and Caddington Drive.

Power was restored to everyone, but 14 customers by 7:20 p.m. The remaining customers should see their power return by 11:30 p.m., SCE said.
