Palos Verdes Athlete Makes NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team

More than 50 Emerson College Winter & Spring student-athletes were named to their respective New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) teams for the 2020-2021 academic year. Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2021 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire semester.

Ainsley Basic of Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274 was a member of the Women's Lacrosse team for the Spring season. Basic is pursuing a degree in Visual and Graphic Communications and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2022.
