PALOS VERDES, CA — The following is the most recent Lomita Sheriff's Department crime blotter for the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Rancho Palos Verdes

PETTY THEFT

  • Glasses - Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2023, between 4:30 p.m. and 11:45 a.m. - 29000 Indian Valley Rd.
    • A pair of glasses were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle, Sheriff's department officials said.

ROBBERY

  • Business - Feb. 2, 2023, at 1:15 a.m. - 29000 block of Western Avenue
    • Four suspects allegedly stole cellphone chargers and earbuds from an open business. Sheriffs Department officials said the four suspects were men aged 18 to 20 years old and were all wearing dark clothing with one suspect wearing a ski mask. According to LSD the suspects left the location in a newer model white sedan.

BURGLARY

  • Business - Jan. 31, 2023, at 2:57 p.m. - Peninsula Center
    • Five suspects were arrested after LSD officials received a report of fragrances being stolen from a business inside the Peninsula Center.
  • Business - Feb. 2, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. - Peninsula Center
    • Three suspects were arrested after LSD officials received a report of electronics and miscellaneous items being stolen from a business inside the Penisula Center. The suspects were seen leaving the location in a red 2018 Nissan Sentra, LSD said.
