Palos Verdes Estates Looks To Fill Committee Vacancies

Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office by 5 p.m. Friday, April 26.

PALOS VERDES, CA – The Palos Verdes Estates City Council is now accepting applications for expiring terms for commissions and committees, the City announced Wednesday. The new positions will be effective July 1 for two-year terms ending June 30, 2021.

The vacancies are:

  • Planning Commission (two seats)
  • Parklands Committee (two seats)
  • Traffic Safety Committee (three seats)
  • Finance Advisory Committee (three seats, including one vacancy beginning March 26)
  • Technology and Advisory Committee (two seats)
  • Law Enforcement Services Special Tax Oversight Committee (two seats)

Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. Friday, April 26. Applicants must be Palos Verdes Estates residents and registered voters, the City said. An “Application for Civic Service” can be requested from the City Clerk’s Office located at 340 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274, by phone at 310-378-0383, or from the City’s website.

The City Council will conduct applicant interviews on May 11 and shall make appointments to fill all vacancies during the regular meeting of the City Council on May 28.
