PVE Police, City Officials to Block 'Party Hop' to Heighten Crime Prevention Awareness
They'll be making 19 stops throughout town. You're invited to join them.

From the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department:
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department, partnering with PVE Neighborhood Watch, will caravan with city officials, visiting 19 block parties throughout the city from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department and Neighborhood Watch encourage residents to turn on the porch lights, lock their doors and meet their neighbors. Caravan visits from the mayor and council members, city manager, police officials, LA County Fire and special guest; crime dog Officer McGruff will meet with residents at 19 predetermined locations.
