Body Of Missing Swimmer Recovered Off Rancho Palos Verdes (UPDATE)
A search was conducted off Rancho Palos Verdes where witnesses reported seeing a swimmer screaming for help Monday.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA —The body of a swimmer, who had gotten into trouble in the ocean off Rancho Palos Verdes on Monday, was found Tuesday morning.
The body was found at 7:41 a.m. in the water, near Seawall Road, to the east side along the beach, according to a Los Angeles County fire department dispatcher.
The body was turned over to the Sheriff's Department at 8:08 a.m., the dispatcher said.

Witnesses reported hearing someone screaming for help at 6:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Portuguese Bend, the dispatcher said.
The man was reportedly last seen at 6:50 p.m. Monday swimming with a pool flotation device near Trump National Golf Course, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Boats, a helicopter and divers were deployed, but there was no sign of a victim on Monday, the dispatcher said.
The search was suspended Monday night and resumed at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
The swimmer was described as being in his mid-20s with multiple tattoos all over his body and wearing black shorts and black shoes, authorities said.
