RPV Man Charged Head-on PCH Crash that Killed Two
A 28-year-old Rancho Palos Verdes man is accused of drunkenly veering into on-coming traffic, killing a man, 19, and a woman, 20.

A Rancho Palos Verdes man was charged today with three felony counts in connection with a head-on crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance that killed a 19-year-old Inglewood man and a 20-year-old Los Angeles woman.
David Scott Pedersen, 28, pleaded not guilty to two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and one count of driving under the influence of a drug causing injury.
The charges stem from a Jan. 6 crash in which Pedersen’s Honda Accord veered from the southbound lanes in the 3400 block of Pacific Coast Highway and collided head-on with a northbound Toyota Corolla containing Joseph Labori- Romero and Vanessa Carrisoza-Diaz, who were killed in the crash, Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott said.
