South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide July 11, 2019
Wondering what there is to do this weekend? Here are all the events in one place!

I hope you all enjoyed the extra-long 4th of July weekend. After all the festivities on Thursday, we spent the next several days tackling some much-delayed spring cleaning projects. I couldn’t rouse myself during the actual spring to do any of these chores and I blame that on the prolonged June Gloom. In addition, we couldn’t have the trees trimmed because the baby birds hatched later than usual (is it possible the marine layer is responsible for that, too?). Now, with the sun finally shining, I could see just how grungy the windows had become (you don’t notice the grime against an endless gray sky). Best of all, I finally took the top and doors off my Jeep! While it’s always a treat to head out of town for an extended holiday weekend, sometimes it’s nice to have a few days to accomplish things around the house. Now that most of the work is done, I’ve got to catch up on some summering, and there’s no shortage of fun things to do this weekend! Read on…..
