Suspects Arrested In String Of South Bay Burglaries
Two suspects were arrested on Wednesday and were linked to multiple crimes throughout the South Bay, PVEPD detectives said.

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — Detectives with the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department arrested two suspects in connection to a string of burglaries that targeted residents in Palos Verdes Estates and nearby cities.
According to PVEPD, the suspects committed a residential burglary in the 1300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West on Jan. 2. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the involved suspect vehicle shortly after, but were unsuccessful resulting in a brief car chase.
Following the pursuit, the suspects were arrested and stolen items from the residential burglary were recovered. Both people were booked into the PVEPD jail.

Through further investigation, detectives said they discovered the suspects were staying at a short-term rental house in the Harbor Gateway area. PVEPD officers, with the help of Manhattan Beach Detectives, served a search warrant on Wednesday that led to the recovery of stolen property from crimes throughout the South Bay.
"The South Bay has a strong network of local police departments that work very well together that we are thankful to be a part of," PVEPD said in a statement.
