PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA -- An 18-year-old man was plucked from a cliff in Palos Verdes Estates on Wednesday and taken to a hospital. Firefighters responded about 5:30 p.m. to the 700 block of Paseo del Mar, where the victim was stuck about 100 feet down the cliff, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The man was hoisted into a helicopter and taken to Torrance Memorial Medical Center, a dispatcher said.
