Unrelenting Rain To Resume In Palos Verdes
This week's storm is expected to bring rain and possible thunderstorms to Palos Verdes through Thursday, officials said.
PALOS VERDES, CA — Brief dry skies and sunny weather are coming to an end on the Palos Verdes Peninsula starting Tuesday night as yet another rainstorm is forecasted to pour over the area.
According to the National Weather Service, this week's "vigorous storm system" traveled south from the Gulf of Alaska and will likely extend into Thursday. Forecasters also said some areas may experience possible thunderstorms.
"The colder and more unstable portion of the system comes in later Wednesday into Thursday morning. This will be more showery in nature but with higher rain rates and possible thunderstorms," the NWS said.
