Who Shot South Bay Teen? Rewards Offer for Tips on Suspect

CARSON (CNS) - A $20,000 reward was offered Wednesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot and critically wounded an 18-year-old man on a street in Carson.
Justin Uy was shot about 12:30 a.m. last Wednesday at the intersection of Dolores and 228th streets, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded to a shots fired call in that area and discovered Uy down in the street, according to a sheriff's sergeant.

Uy was hospitalized in critical condition, the sheriff's department reported.
No suspect information was released.
