PALOS VERDES, CA — The following is the most recent Lomita Sheriff's Station crime blotter for the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Rancho Palos Verdes
PETTY THEFT
- Package - June 26, 2023, 4:35 p.m. - 28000 block of Peacock Ridge Drive
- According to the Sheriff's Station, three suspects took a package that was at an apartment. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic woman in her late 30s who wore dark clothing, a camouflage sweater, an orange shirt and big silver hoop earrings. The second suspect was described as a Black man in his early 30s who wore a black hat, blue ripped jeans, a black sweater and a white face mask. The third suspect was described as a Hispanic man who wore a blue sweater, black jeans, black jeans and a white face mask. The suspects were seen leaving the location in a black Dodge Charger. Deputies said a white Toyota Prius and a White Toyota Corolla were seen acting as lookout vehicles.
- Unlocked Vehicle - June 27, 2023, between 2:50 p.m. and 3:44 p.m. - 30000 block of Hawthorne Avenue
- A driver's license, cash, and credit cars were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle, authorities said. No suspect information was available.
ROBBERY

- Property -June 25, 2023, 2:12 p.m. - 28000 block of Western Avenue
- A cellphone was reported stolen according to the Sheriff's Station. The first suspect was described as a 20-year-old Black man who is 5-feet 6-inches tall and wore a light gray hoodie. The second suspect was described as a Black man, but no further details were available. The pair were seen leaving the location in a gray sedan that authorities said could be a Ford.
GRAND THEFT
- Auto - June 29, 2023, 1:31 a.m. - 200 block of Avenida Aprenda
- A white 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 Pickup Truck was reported stolen, authorities said. No suspect information was available.

- Vehicle - June 25, 2023, between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. - East Boundary Trail
- A driver's license, cash, and credit cars were reported stolen from a car, and authorities said the front driver's side door lock was tampered with. No suspect information was available.
- Business - June 27, 2023, at 2:35 p.m. - 28000 block of South Western Avenue
- According to deputies, four suspects entered a business and stole a cash register, cigarettes and cash after the front glass door was shattered. The first suspect was described as a Black man who is 5-feet 10-inches tall with a medium build. The second suspect was described as a Black man who wore a ski mask and is 5-feet and 10-inches tall with a medium build. the third suspect was described as a Black man who also wore a ski mask and was 5-feet 8-inches tall with a thin build. The last suspect was described as a Black man who wore a ski mask and is 5-feet and 10-inches tall with a thin build. The suspects were seen leaving the location in a white Toyota Camry with dark tinted windows, no front license plate and an unknown commercial type of rear license plate.

BURGLARY
- Attempt Residential - June 27, 2023, at 11:40 p.m. - 52oo block of Willow Wood Road
- According to the Sheriff's Station, an attempt was made to break into a home, but nothing was stolen. Deputies said the front door of the house was damaged. The suspect was described as a 6 foot tall man wearing dark clothing, no other details were available.
- Business - June 29, 2023, 1:35 p.m. - Peninsula Center
- Cologne, skin care products and makeup were reported stolen from an open business, authorities said. The first suspect was described as a woman who wore a black vest, a pink long-sleeved shirt and a black long loose skirt. The second suspect was described as a woman wearing a white shirt and black pants.
- Vehicle - July 1, 2023, between 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. - 26000 block of Silver Spur Road
- A purse with a Bible, journal, perfume, credit cards, a AAA card and a driver's license inside was reported stolen from a car. The Sheriff's Station said the rear driver's side quarter window was broken. No information was available about any suspects.
No crimes were included in the Rolling Hills crime blotter during the reporting period according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station.
