2, Killed, 2 Injured In Pasadena Car Crash
Police believe speed was a factor in the single-car crash that took two lives in Pasadena Monday night.
PASADENA, CA — Two men are dead and two others were injured in a single-car crash in Pasadena overnight.
The crash was reported about 10:55 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Orange Grove Boulevard, said Pasadena police Lt. Pete Hettema. Authorities believe speed was a factor in the crash, causing the driver to lose control of the car while navigating a curve.
Both the driver and his left rear passenger died at the scene, Hettema said. The other two passengers were taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

Hettema said it did not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the crash, which remains under investigation.
Authorities withheld the names of the fatally injured men, pending notification of their relatives.
