All He Wanted Was A Taco, Suspected Taco Bell Thief Tells Police
A Pasadena man drunkenly broke into a Taco Bell Saturday to eat Dorito taco shells, but, repentant of his crime, he turned himself in.

PASADENA, CA — A man turned himself in for breaking into a Taco Bell restaurant Pasadena his week, explaining to police that he was just drunk and hungry.
The case of the purloined taco shells came to a quick end Saturday. Before detectives could break the case wide open, the self-identified thief showed up at the Pasadena Police station four hours after he broke into the Taco Bell at 2050 Fair Oaks Ave Saturday morning and confessed to munching on taco shells. Police believe he consumed at least eight Dorito shell tacos.
“He said he was drunk and hungry and broke into the business to eat taco shells,” Lt. Pete Hettema told the Pasadena Star-News.
