• UCLA just ranked second among America's best public universities — and 3 California schools make Forbes' top 10 colleges (secretlosangeles.com) — Pasadena gets a spotlight as Caltech ranks No. 7 nationally on Forbes' new list of top U.S. colleges, boasting strong salaries for its graduates. The rankings also highlight how competitive UCLA, UC Berkeley, and other California schools have become, giving local families plenty to consider if students want to stay in-state for elite options.
