Armed Suspect Arrested At Pasadena Park
A man wanted for battery at a Pasadena fast food restaurant had a gun and drugs when was arrested Wednesday at a park, police said.
PASADENA, CA — Deputies arrested a man with a gun and narcotics at Hahamongna Watershed Park in northwest Pasadena Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies from the sheriff's Crescenta Valley Station had been searching for a man who brandished a gun Tuesday near Berkshire Place and Berkshire Avenue. A suspect with a similar description committed battery at a fast food restaurant in the 400 block of Foothill Boulevard around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
A La Canada Flintridge community service assistant saw a vehicle parked in the upper parking lot of Hahamongna Watershed Park, near Foothill Boulevard and Oak Grove Drive and La Canada High School, which seemed to match a vehicle involved in the earlier incident.

The assistant alerted deputies, who arrived and detained the suspect.
Authorities reported seizing a handgun and narcotics, and are investigating if the suspect is connected with the earlier crimes.
