
PASADENA, CA — A 55-year-old Altadena man was killed Thursday in Pasadena when the electric motorcycle he was riding slammed into a metal pole.
The solo crash occurred about 12:05 p.m. at New York Drive and Bradley Street, the Pasadena Police Department reported.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The rider was operating a 2017 Zero electric motorcycle, heading east on New York Drive, when he lost control of the bike for unknown reasons and hit a metal pole, according to Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres.
