Boy, 13, Arrested For Allegedly Attacking Pasadena Teacher

Police in Pasadena arrested a 13-year-old boy who allegedly punched and threw equipment at a teacher.

PASADENA, CA — A 13-year-old boy was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly attacking a teacher at Blair High School.

The boy, who was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, was taken to a juvenile detention facility, and the person he allegedly assaulted was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The incident happened at about 10:30, when the teen was being disciplined for a previous incident, Pasadena Police Department Lt. William Grisafe told the Pasadena Star-News.

The boy began throwing equipment around the office and punched the teacher, according to Grisafe.
