CatCon, The World's Biggest Cat-Centric Event, Returns To Pasadena This Weekend

"It's like Comic Con, but for cat people," according to CatCon's parent company, Ticket Out, Inc.

PASADENA, CA — Why take a cat nap this weekend when you can attend the biggest cat-centric event in the world?

CatCon 2025, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is coming to the Pasadena Convention Center on Aug. 2 and 3 to offer a "one-of-a-kind experience, according to organizers.

The two-day event will have an adoption village, workshops with experts on catch health and culture, more than 150 booths with merch and gifts, giveaways, games, contests and more.

There will be plenty of cat celebs available for meet and greets, including Nathan the Cat Lady, SpongeCake and Maple Cat.

Many people go to the event in Cat-themed cosplay; however, no weapons or sexually suggestive costumes are allowed, according to CatCon organizers.

Guests are not allowed to bring their cats to the event for the safety of others, according to organizers. Tickets for the event can be found here. Children under 5 do not require a ticket. Anybody under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, according to the organizers.

CatCon 2025 will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E. Green St.).
